Feature Improvements

Installation instruction
1. Check the software version installed before performing the upgrade.
2. To check the installed software version please follow the below procedure:
Long press “MENU/BACK” button -> then select “SYSTEM” -> “SYSTEM INFO”.
The system will display the installed SW version for a few seconds on the screen.
Preparation
You need a blank USB flash drive that has a capacity between 256MB and 64GB. Ensure the USB Flash Drive is formatted to FAT32.
▪ Download the update file from the DOWNLOAD area of the CAPRI product web page:
a. For CAPRI H100: https://hertz-audio.com/product/capri/
b. For CAPRI HD1: https://hertz-audio.com/product/capri-hd1/
▪ Unzip in your PC/laptop the update file folder and copy the decompressed files into a USB flash drive.
Install Process for USB update:
ATTENTION: before starting the USB update please take care of the following precautions
▪ Check that the power supply voltage is over 12Vdc and make sure that it stays over this level for the whole time the procedure is
in progress.
▪ Do not shut off the unit during the upgrade procedure.
▪ Do not remove the USB flash drive while the upgrade procedure is in progress.
CAPRI H100 upgrade procedure
1. Turn on the CAPRI H100.
2. Connect the USB flash drive.
3. Long press “MENU/BACK” button -> then select “SYSTEM” -> then select “CAPRI H100 UPDATE”.
4. The system will request you to confirm before starting the upgrade procedure. Please confirm “YES” by pressing the knob.
5. The unit may restart a few times while updating the software. When the upgrade procedure is complete the unit turns on in the
source screen.
6. Remove the USB flash drive.
7. To verify the current system SW version please see “Installation instructions” in the above paragraph.
CAPRI HD1 upgrade procedure (you can update up to 3 CAPRI HD1 simultaneously connected to one CAPRI H100 head unit)
To use the same USB stick previously prepared for the CAPRI H100:
1. The CAPRI HD1 remote control should be connected to one CAPRI H100 head unit.
2. Turn on the CAPRI H100 with the CAPRI HD1 remote controls connected.
3. Connect the USB flash drive.
4. Long press “MENU/BACK” button -> then select “SYSTEM” -> “CAPRI HD1 UPDATE”.
5. The unit may restart a few times while updating the software. When the upgrade procedure is complete the unit turns on in the
source screen.
6. Remove the USB flash drive.
7. To verify the current system SW version please see “Installation instructions” in the above paragraph.
